Hi,

So we are all alive and kicking in the new year. Good for us. Well 2010 brings in new dimension to MA’s future. Our lead vocalist and keyboard player ‘Equinox’ got married. That would definitely mean an unpaid annual leave from MA’s work.

I am back in Mumbai and trying to rebuild the void that last year created due to the day work requirements.

2010 ushers in new hope, vigor and direction to MA’s music.

Wishing you all a sparkling 2010=30 ahead.

Anticipating new and refreshing music from ourselves.

Hi,

Since February beginning we both have been busy with our lives (work!). I have been travelling on account of my work and more or less based in Kakinada (AP) on the eastern coast of India for the past 04 months. This has affected the release of two of our songs which are half complete. None the less we are working independently on ‘music’ which is our primary goal.

Continuing in the spirit of ‘music’ I have worked on one of my favourite classical Psalm (Bhajan!) “Raghupati Raghav Raja Raam” which was incidently also favourite of one of my ideals, “Mahatma Gandhi”.

Tied of resources I played the music on the keyboard of my laptop and used ‘fruity loops’ for composing and ‘audition’ for recording the music. It took me three days from concept to final cut for the song and in the end I was quite happy with the result.

I hope you enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed composing it. Please leave your feedback or suggestions.

Our tribute song to the people who were affected in any way by the unfortunate events of 26 Nov 08 in Mumbai.

Yes it is finally released, on the occasion of Indian Republic Day. The completion of this song spanned over 3 months as both of us have been busy with our lives. Equinox shifting homes around Mumbai and me traveling for almost a month now in and out of Mumbai.

This song deals with the loss, the responsibility and the reaction.

We hope you like this song and enjoy it more than we did, making it.

Hi, first of the all let me wish you a very happy new. Thank you for staying alive so far! Well with 2008 has gone the dirty deeds too. What is left is a new zeal to go where no man has gone before! Hence for creative reasons I have decided to stay in Kakinada Andhra Pradesh for a fort night. I shall be utilising this time to set myself straight on the agendas of 2009. On of them ofcourse being thrashing out good music. So fellow humans await the embrosia…

Hi,

I was working on the new song the idea of which was penned by Equinox.

While I was doing bit for that song I came up with a totally different idea to do a Hindi Power Metal song. Then started a long session of programming drums, bass; playing & recording rhythm and lead parts. It took the whole Sunday off me and finally I was left with a finished Hindi Power Metal instrumental Song!

Since equinox is away enjoying his leaves I thought of doing the lyrics and vocals myself. That I guess was too much to ask of my self. I somehow managed to write SOME lyrics but the recording was pathetic. I sang the song in whispers fearing that my neighbors would become worried hearing all those growls at 1 in the night!

Its better to wait and let equinox do the due, dont want to ruin the effort in putting up this song together. I hope it is released soon.

Meanwhile you can read the lyrics and enjoy!!

“Yeah (Scream)

Yeh kaunsa jeev hai

Muh se phunkaare aag yeh

Aankhon main aakrosh hai

Shaitaan ka roop yeh

Aadmi, Aadmin nahin Janwar hai”

Janwar Aadmi Janwar Aadmin”

And so on!!

Recently I finished reading N N Taleb’s ‘Fooled by Randomness’, which says, life is a stochastic process filled with random variables…including you & I. Thus, sucess, in this process filled with randomness, can depend a huuuge lot on chance, which is generally referred to as ‘Luck’. After all, who knows if Metallica had not had their chance, they could’ve been playing at a roadside motel…ever thought of that?? A good read…will recommend to all my friends interested even a tiny bit in stats…and definitely to all MBAs.

As zZombie says, we have started working on our next original. As usual, I guess its gonna take long before the song is ready with its body and soul…distances kill in Mumbai.

Anyway, few good days now…Diwali holidays…will hopefully bring some peace in life. Happy Dipavali to all everyone. cyao.

Hi,

I updated the website today. Since equinox thought the dipavali picture was a little lame I had to come up with something different, what better than a burning guitar lighting the festival seasons!

I was out on a dinner with my close pal NT who, for some reason (Out of this world) was unaware of revolution i.e mutedaberrations and www.mutedaberrations.com the voice of the muted. Anyway he has been updated to the last bit and also his suggestion to add lyrics on the website itself has been taken, rather than relying on a 3rd site for text feeds (NT - “Koi ****** hai kya ki song ek par, lyrics doosare par aur kuch aur teesre par browse karega”). Well NT right said “Koi” actually woh nahin hai! So we have updated our DISCOGRAPHY section to contain the lyrics too.

A saint someone (APPU) predicted that the name of our band would be boogiebush but he too would be updated about the revolution MA by tomorrow.

Now please don’t ask me the meaning of the songs you can flame mavocal@mutedaberrations.com for that!

We have also zipped all our songs so that you can download off the rule based firewalls as normal zip files.

Once again Happy Dipavali to you.

Hi,

We have started work on our next song dubbed as “Kya Yahi”. Lyrics are still to come but we have got a hang of the music and melody that we need. Any submissions on the lyrics are welcome. My personal opinion would be to write on a world that it has become now SAVAGE!

These days I am listening to some new hardcore punk bands mostly based on riffs and chords:

1. Dead Poetic

2. Rise Against

3. Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

Thinking of working on a song influenced by the above in Hindi.

PS: We want a  drummer in Mumbai
